Overall I love the shop unfortunately the shop didn't have my size in footwear and limited stock but I will still use them regardless

Hi. I purchased a pair of safety boots 04/03/22. I tried the boots on at home indoors and found that one of the boots is moving inside somehow on the right foot and making a noise when walking. I took the boots back to the store 05/03/22. I explained the problem to the manager 164659 whom was very unhelpful. She refused that the boot was faulty and declined any exchange or refund. I was shocked by this. The manager proceeded to get a member of staff 573421 to remove her shoes and walk around in the boots, this staff member seemed intimidated by the manager and wouldn't confirm the fault of the boot which was either due to fear of reprimand or her feet were to small and couldn't identify the fault. Terrible experience and terrible managerial attitude in store. I'm gobsmacked at the service i received. Please be aware there customer service standards aren't the greatest. The gent whom kept the boots aside for me on arrival and the gent who served me were really nice and I have no complaints there at all, I wish I could say the same for the manager.

I purchased a pair of trainers for my son. After only 5 weeks, the hard plastic heel came away from the fabric inside, sticking out and making the shoes unwearable, as they hurt when worn. I returned them with proof of purchase. The assistant was very unhelpful and went to ask a manager. On returning, she said they couldn't be returned, as there was a crease where she said my son has folded the heel down when wearing them. As the heel is very hard plastic, this would be impossible to do. I even complained online, but they were equally unhelpful. I will no longer shop there, as their returns policy stinks even if goods are faulty and the staff are so unhelpful unless they are making a sale.

Wow as usual loads of bargains. Got a pair of expensive leather walking boots for less than half price, as well as a few other bits I didn't know I wanted. Staff were super helpful.

Great store, didn't realise it was on two levels! Had viewed items I wanted online and the store price matched them so really happy. Very helpful staff. I'm not from the area so initially confused as to where to park but found the nearby car park so all is well!

1 star for cheap prices 1 star for excellent service by lady at the till Deducted 3 stars for abismal service from large male with dark hair in shoe department. After finding my own shoes for my daughter to try on because there were no staff around, I was told while he was facing the other way that there was 'a limit' to the amount of shoes we were allowed to try on. I asked what the limit was, he did the service of looking at me this time and informing it "a couple". I pointed out that a sign would be useful for customers to make us aware of this rule. He then told me (again, not while looking at me) that there was a pandemic on due to covid so he has to clean all the shoes and that "he'd seen me trying a lot of shoes on". I am aware that there is a pandemic. Due to the pandemic, I happily clean all equipment I use regularly for my own business. I found his tone and manner to not only be rude but also very unhelpful. I have no problem following restrictions due to Covid. I just ask to be informed of the rules in a timely and polite manner. Signage would do this quite easily.

Sports Direct woman on the door today needs to be trained. If someone declares to her they are exempt from wearing a face mask then legally she is not required to question that person for what reason they are except (That information is private to the individual person). Disgusting row I had to witness while shopping in there today. Hopefully the person she excluded from entering the store follows this up with his solicitor and she personally is fined £9000 as per government guidelines for this conduct.

Decent size store. Usual products and prices. Limited free parking along from shop in market place, however car parks are only 60p for two hours and just a short walk away.

Not massive inside but plenty of stock and they have a second floor. Staff were very helpful and friendly, no pressure sales either

Bought 2 shirts in store took them home didn't fit correctly so returned next day for refund couldn't get one only exchange or credit note so went to get next size only had 1 so asked for my money back still the same credit or exchange yes it states on receipt but also say statutory rights iam sure I could demand refund but they were adamant I wasn't getting one
